Hi, I'm Jamie!
Since 2010, I've had the privilege to be able to help so many people in their journey to finding peace, joy, and productivity through organizing.
I have always felt clear-minded when my spaces are beautiful and organized. Working in the interior design industry in California for many years, I found that the perfect career for me was helping others achieve beauty in their own homes.
My passion for creating beautiful homes swiftly collided with organizing when a close family member asked me to help organize and style his home and make it "not look like a bachelor pad anymore." I loved it so much that I started asking friends and family if I could help organize their spaces, and the rest is a very organized history.
I know that life can be hectic at times, and the last thing you want to do is organize your pantry or closet during your downtime.
I'm here to help you get rid of the clutter and maintain a system that will keep you in control after I leave.
Your home should be your sanctuary,
not a place of stress and clutter.
When your home is in order, you will be able to concentrate on the things that matter most.
Whether you are a large family, a couple, or a busy professional, no project is too big or small. Let me help you reach your goals.
With my background in interior design, I am able to suggest creative and beautiful solutions for organizing that look great, fit your style, and evoke calm.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a Professional Organizer?
A professional organizer is a coach that works with you to declutter and put systems in place to stay organized. Getting your home in order is a personal investment, which in turn will create more Joy, Peace, Productivity, and Mental Stability in your life.
Why hire an organizer?
To keep you on track! Have you ever attempted to organize, only to find yourself an hour later still staring at the clutter? As your coach, I will implement easy-to-follow systems and keep us on track so we can get the project done, and continue to stay organized long after I leave.
What is the assessment?
We begin with a walk-through of your home or home office. During this initial session, we will discover where the pressure points are: what drives you crazy, what confuses you, and what overwhelms you. Then we will begin to discover what inspires you as you describe and envision your ideal space by verbalizing your goals for decluttering. Basically our game plan.
What should I expect during my organizing session?
Sessions are typically 3 hours long, and it is best that you be present during the session so I can get your input on what you want to keep, toss, and donate. First, we will go through all your items in the area that you want to get organized and you will decide if things stay or go. Second, I will find a home for all items and figure out dynamic ways to organize them. I will make suggestions on containers or other items that will help give you more space, or use items that you already own. At the end of the session, I will help place any trash out on the curb/garbage cans on your property and take donations (restrictions may apply) at no additional cost.
Should I clean before my session?
No, please don't! I need to see how your current system is working to best evaluate a good course of action.
Will I have to throw everything away?
No, but letting go of clutter is the key to success when getting organized. I will help you with items that you are feeling guilty about letting go of. I often ask if you feel that you need, use, want, or love the item. If not, then it's time to let it go to a place where it can be needed, used, wanted, and loved again.
What areas do you organize?
Pretty much all areas in the home, including your home office. Visit my Services page.
Will my sessions be confidential?
Absolutely! My client's trust in me comes first. Please be assured that I will never share any conversation or confidential information. For an outline of The Clutter Guru's code of ethics, see the About page.
